The Shanghai Jiangning School has integrated our directional sound reinforcement system, significantly enhancing playground sound management, optimizing sound distribution, and elevating the audio experience of educational activities.

Project Overview

Shanghai Jiangning School is a long-established public institution offering a continuous nine-year education, providing high-quality foundational education and dedicated to nurturing students who are well-prepared for the demands of modern society.

The surrounding environment of the school is densely structured, with residential areas adjacent to one side.

Whenever the school starts morning exercises, sports events, or recess activities, high-decibel announcements from the playground disperse in all directions, directly affecting the daily lives of neighboring residents.

DSPPA Directional Speaker: Effective Sound Coverage

To address this, the DSPPA technical team meticulously engineered the speaker layout, positioning six directional speakers in a linear arrangement with approximately 13 meters between each unit along the perimeter of the playground adjacent to the residential area.

Through precise placement and sound direction optimization, the speaker provides effective coverage of the playground’s sound area with its frontal sound emission range, while significantly attenuating sound intensity on the sides and rear. This approach effectively mitigates noise impact on neighboring residents and maintains an undisturbed teaching environment.

It resolves the underlying conflict between the school and residential areas, minimizes community noise, and enhances the acoustic environment on campus, thereby elevating overall teaching quality.

The MAG2120II/MAG2140II intelligent audio matrix system offers 20/40-zone control, enabling flexible audio signal distribution and efficient management. The system supports a wide range of audio input sources, provides zone paging functionality, and can integrate with fire alarm systems, with all operations easily controlled via software.

DSP350F IPX6 Outdoor Directional Speaker

The outdoor directional speaker is equipped with two 8" subwoofers, one midrange driver, and one tweeter. It features a highly directional design, enabling clear directional sound transmission over long distances while effectively minimizing noise disturbance to the surrounding area. Its all-weather construction makes it ideal for outdoor venues such as playgrounds and plazas, delivering a crisp and bright audio experience.
