The 9th ASEM Summit (Asia-Europe Meeting)'s opening ceremony was held in Vientiane, the capital of Laos on November 5, 2012. More than 50 countries' Presidents in Asia and Europe attended this Summit to discuss the two continents' peace and development under the new situation.
