Traditional public address systems can no longer fully meet the increasingly demanding requirements for refined management, emergency response, and intelligent operation.

Solution Description

Based on proven analog constant-voltage public address technology, the solution combines the MAG1116 intelligent host with efficient power distribution to build a large-scale public address system with 100 zones, delivering comprehensive coverage, stable audio transmission, and intelligent system management.

Key Advantages

Intelligent Control Center: With the MAG1116 host as the core of the system, audio sources, scheduled tasks, and fire alarm integration can be centrally coordinated and managed, enabling intelligent centralized control and one-touch emergency response.

Flexible 100-Zone Expansion: Centered on the MAG1116 intelligent host, the solution manages nine PC1063 10-zone expanders through a local area network, flexibly expanding the system to 100 independent zones and enabling precise broadcast control for different areas.

Fire Alarm Integration: Upon receiving a fire alarm short-circuit signal, the host immediately forces the system to switch to the emergency broadcast channel. Evacuation instructions can then be automatically broadcast throughout the entire facility or in designated areas, ensuring rapid response and personnel safety during emergencies.

Stable Constant-Voltage Transmission: Utilizing standard 100V constant-voltage transmission technology, the system effectively reduces signal loss over long distances and provides strong resistance to interference, ensuring reliable, high-quality audio transmission.

Suitable Applications

Designed for small- to medium-sized industrial parks, logistics centers, and production facilities with a building area of approximately 25,000–55,000 m², the solution is well suited to complex requirements such as high-density zone management, fire emergency broadcast override, intelligent scheduled chimes, and independent paging across multiple areas. It provides efficient and reliable public address and communication support for large-scale industrial environments.

Solution: DSP6011 ceiling speakers are selected for discreet installation that blends seamlessly with the interior décor. They deliver clear voice reproduction and pleasant background music, creating a focused and comfortable working environment.

Solution: DSP304HI horn speakers or DSP255II column speakers are selected to create uniform sound coverage. They are well suited to high-ceiling spaces and complex environments, ensuring clear and effective sound projection.

Scenario: Spacious canteen halls, dining areas, and serving counters.

Solution: DSP8062 wall-mount speakers are deployed to provide high-output sound coverage in noisy environments, ensuring that background music and announcements are clearly delivered throughout the area.

Solution: DSP304HI horn speakers are selected. With high sensitivity and powerful sound projection, they effectively overcome high ambient noise levels in workshop environments, ensuring that production instructions and safety alerts are clearly communicated.

Designed for open outdoor environments, they feature IPX6-rated protection against water and dust, effectively withstanding exposure to rain and other outdoor conditions. Solution: DSP6011 ceiling speakers are deployed with zone-based management, enabling scheduled playback of wake-up calls, lights-out chimes, and announcements while balancing management efficiency with a comfortable living environment.

III. System Core: MAG1116 Key Features

MAG1116 Features：

●Supports connection of up to 5 background music amplifiers, with each amplifier supporting 2 zones. Each zone supports a maximum power of 200 W, with the total system power not exceeding 2000 W.

●Supports PC connection via an RJ45 interface, allowing songs to be downloaded and updated at any time, as well as remote downloading and editing of scheduled playback points.

●Supports playback of MP3-format emergency recordings of up to 10 minutes, while background audio recording supports up to 4 hours.

●Features a 5-inch touch LCD screen with selectable Chinese and English interfaces and 1 GB of built-in storage.

●Supports the configuration of 5 timing programs, with up to 200 scheduled playback points available for each program.

●Provides 2 paging microphone interfaces, 1 background music line output, and 1 emergency paging line output. Supports wireless microphone input.

●Supports importing and exporting configuration data via a USB drive, including songs, scheduled playback points, and other settings. Supports software upgrades via USB and playback of MP3 audio files stored on a USB drive.

●Provides 1 fire alarm trigger input and an emergency microphone. The emergency microphone can be used for both emergency and routine paging. During emergency paging, the microphone can be activated immediately upon triggering; for routine paging, the desired zone must first be selected before making an announcement.

MAG1116 Host Software Overview

●The PC software supports a wide range of settings, including host control, scheduled playback point editing, zone name configuration, host IP address settings, background color settings, and Chinese/English language selection.

●The system supports centralized control and management of up to 100 physical zones built with PC1063 expanders, either through the local control panel of the MAG1116 host or the accompanying PC software.

IV. System Core: PC1063 Broadcast Zone Expander

A highly integrated multifunctional audio distribution and control device.

Flexible Input and Output：Features 2 audio source inputs and 10 zone output channels.

Emergency Priority：Emergency broadcast signals are assigned the highest priority.

Visual Status Monitoring：Alarm and output signal indicators provide real-time monitoring of system status.

Remote Control：Supports remote control via a PC and networked host.

PC1063 Front and Rear Panel Overview

Zone Outputs:

The zone output terminals, from CH1 to CH10, are connected to the speakers in their corresponding zones to provide direct audio signal output.

Status Monitoring:

Front-panel indicators clearly display the on/off status and alarm status of each channel, allowing users to quickly identify whether issues such as audio loss or system faults occur before or after the zone expander.

Zone Switching Management:

Enables precise zone switching and independent management of the power supply or signal path for each of the 10 zones.

Alarm Input:

The ALARM INPUT is connected to the fire alarm control center. If an alarm matrix is already used as the alarm signal input interface within the system, this port does not need to be connected.

Emergency Broadcast Input:

The emergency broadcast signal is input through the CH B INPUT interface. Signals received through this input have the highest priority and can be connected directly from the amplifier.

Background Music Input:

The background music signal is input through the CH A INPUT terminal on the rear panel, while the emergency broadcast signal is input through the CH B INPUT terminal. Both inputs can be connected directly to the amplifier.
