System Overview

● With the modernization of prison management and the continuous advancement of informatization, traditional public address systems have gradually revealed their shortcomings. Traditional PA equipment mostly relies on single hardware facilities, lacks flexibility and remote control capabilities, and has poor system scalability. Especially in large-scale prisons, traditional public address systems are unable to meet various needs such as real-time performance, coverage, and ease of operation. Therefore, SIP-based network PA systems have emerged, providing more flexible and intelligent broadcasting services, along with stronger scalability and easier management.

Design Objectives

● Unified Management and Remote Control: The centralized management platform allows prison administrators to easily control broadcasts, track device performance, and conduct remote maintenance—all with a single click, enhancing operational efficiency.

● Flexibility & Scalability: The system can be expanded according to changes in prison scale. Adding broadcast terminals in new areas only requires simple network access, without complex hardware configurations. It supports flexible broadcast scheduling functions, enabling customized content and timing adjustments based on actual needs.

● Diversified Services: Supports various broadcast types, including background music, emergency broadcasts, and notification broadcasts, to meet different scenarios and needs.

● Efficiency and Real-Time Performance: Based on the SIP protocol, broadcast commands can be transmitted quickly and reliably to all terminal devices, ensuring that information is delivered immediately—especially crucial in emergency situations.

System Configuration Description

●  Information Broadcasting and Zone Management: Utilizing the background music public address system, notifications, information broadcasts, and other announcements can be made across different floors and specific areas of the prison.

●  Visual Intercom Function: Install the DSP9326B visual intercom terminal in prison dormitories or activity areas to enable two-way communication between terminal areas and the prison management center. This allows for timely handling of emergency calls, feedback, and other communication needs, ensuring that the management staff is promptly informed.

● Management Office Broadcast: A remote intercom broadcast paging station (DSP9312) can be installed in the equipment room, control center, or duty room, allowing staff to broadcast emergency messages or general announcements to any specific area or room within the prison.

●  Emergency Broadcast: In the event of incidents such as prison breaks or conflicts, the central control center can forcibly take over the broadcast system to issue alarms across the entire prison or specific zones. During emergencies, the system can immediately play emergency broadcast messages while suspending other functions such as background music and routine announcements. With one-click alarming, pre-recorded emergency messages are quickly activated to help evacuate people and guide them to safety. Normal broadcasting can only resume automatically or manually once the emergency status has been lifted.

● Fire Alarm Linkage Broadcast: For fire prevention and emergency response, even if certain broadcast zones are equipped with volume controllers, the system can automatically activate them during an emergency. With one-click alarming, it triggers emergency alarms to prompt immediate evacuation, ensuring the safety of all personnel and helping prevent accidents.
