New Generation DSP1500 Series  Digitally Steerable Phased Array Directional Column Speaker Solution for Church


I.Solution Description
When the traditional column speaker needs to change the radiation direction (sounding direction) of the main beam, the installation angle (inclination) of the sound column speaker must be adjusted mechanically

The traditional sound column speaker needs to rely on processing into different shapes such as convex curved surface, concave curved surface and beveled surface to control the directivity, and the directivity cannot be adjusted.

The phased array sound column speaker is a sound column product that adjusts the radiation direction of the main beam through electronic technology and digital processing technology (DSP). It can change the direction of the main beam of the sound column speaker through the PC or mobile phone APP control interface under the condition of fixed vertical installation of the sound column speaker, which overcomes the shortcomings of the traditional sound column installation, such as unsightly appearance and difficulty in free adjustment.



DSPPA has combined its proprietary electronics and digital signal processing (DSP) technology to develop the DSP1500 series of indoor active phased array sound columns.

DSP1500 has excellent directivity and can adjust the directivity in three directions at the same time, so that the listeners in each direction can get an excellent listening experience.

Eight custom-designed 4-inch speakers are driven by an eight-channel amplifier powered by a precision switch-mode power supply that can be connected to dedicated passive speakers and a dedicated subwoofer for different scenario applications.

DSP1500 phased array sound column speaker uses our dedicated web-based phase-control adjustment controller operation interface to achieve excellent and accurate directivity adjustment through built-in excellent phased beam adjustment algorithm.

DSP1500 3-brand Phased Array Speaker With Subwoofer



Apart from the active phrased array column speaker DSP1500 series, dedicated passive column speaker and subwoofer are also designed to be used with the DSP1500 series to achieve applications in different scenarios, such as conference rooms, theaters and other occasions.



Active phased array column speaker: Built-in 4”x8 Full-rand Speaker Units and 8-channel digital amplifier module driver,each speaker unit power of 35W, the total power of 280W.

Passive column speaker: consists of 4”x8 Full-rand Speaker Units,
each speaker unit power of 35W, the total power of 280W.

Active Subwoofer: single 12-inch speaker unit, power is 300W/4 Ohm

With highly advanced Digital Directivity Control (DDC), it allows you to control the vertical directivity pattern and aims the sound to the required position, addressing the problem that portion of sound of a normal PA speaker will bounce off the wall, the ceiling and other surfaces that can reflect back the sound.



As for normal PA speakers, the sound can not be all directly heard by the audiences because part of it will bounce off the wall, the ceiling and other surfaces that can reflect back the sound, which will reduce the energy of sound.

To address this problem, we have designed the three-band directional phased array column speaker, which adopts highly advanced Digital Directivity Control (DDC), that can allow you to control the vertical directivity pattern and aim the sound to the required position.

The 3-band sound beam can exist at the same time, or two different kinds of music can be played at the same time. The operation can be set up directly through the PC and mobile web interface.
